When will my mail arrive?

Understand the two stages behind your delivery time — our processing plus postal delivery — with estimated timelines for Regular, Registered, and Express mail to Canada, the US, and internationally.

Wondering when your letter will land in the recipient's mailbox? We know waiting can be stressful, so here's exactly what happens from the moment you place your order to final delivery — and how long each part takes.

The two stages of your delivery time

Your total delivery time is made up of two stages:

  • Our processing time. This is the time we take to print your documents, prepare them for mailing, and hand them to the postal service. Orders placed before our daily cutoff start processing the same business day. All cutoff times are based on Pacific Time, since we mail from British Columbia.
  • Postal delivery time. Once your letter is with the postal service, they handle the final delivery to the recipient. These timeframes are estimates the postal service provides, and they can be affected by factors outside our control.

Estimated timelines by service level

Here's the total estimated time for your mail to arrive, combining our processing with the postal service's delivery estimates. All mail is sent from our facility in British Columbia.

Good to know about your estimate

A few things that affect when your mail actually arrives:

  • Estimates, not guarantees. We work hard to process orders quickly, but we can't guarantee final delivery dates because the postal service controls the last stage.
  • Business days only. Our processing and delivery estimates count business days: Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays in British Columbia and across Canada.
  • Factors beyond our control. Severe weather, high mail volumes, and other service disruptions can delay the postal service's final delivery.
  • Everything ships from British Columbia. Delivery to remote or northern communities and eastern provinces takes longer, often several business days beyond the estimates above.
